Digital Associate

The Digital Associate will draft fundraising emails and text messages, load and send text messages, update email and text fundraising calendars, and assemble weekly analytic reports for clients’ digital fundraising campaigns. The Digital Associate must be a strong writer with incredibly close attention to detail. Qualified candidates will have the unique opportunity to work on a variety of digital fundraising operations from progressive organizations to Senate Campaigns to House Campaigns.

Responsibilities Include:

Drafting fundraising emails and texts
Loading, proofreading, and sending text messages; ensuring that all messages are mistake-free
Updating email and text calendars with results and identifying top performers
Compiling daily and/or weekly analytic reports from clients’ email campaigns, text campaigns, and digital advertising
Performing other duties as needed

Skills and Qualifications/Requirements:

0-2 years of digital or fundraising experience for campaigns or progressive causes (including internship experience)
Strong writing and time management skills; the ability to write quickly under time constraints
An ability to multitask
Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets
Experience drafting fundraising emails and texts on behalf of campaigns or organizations is a plus
Familiarity with reporting in NGP, Action Network, Action Kit, or another CRM is a plus
Familiarity with text production and reporting in Switchboard, Tatango, or other text platforms is a plus
Familiarity with creating pages and monitoring results in ActBlue is a plus
Knowledge of HTML is a plus
Experience with Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager is a plus
Willingness to work atypical hours for political candidates
A passion for electing Democrats up and down the ballot and for progressive causes!

Senior Digital Strategist

The Senior Digital Strategist will manage the digital fundraising process for key clients, developing overarching fundraising strategy, calendars, email plans, and text plans. They will manage email and text list growth campaigns through both advertising and list rental campaigns. They will be the primary contact for key Democratic campaigns and/or Democratic PACs across the country. They will monitor email deliverability to ensure emails end up in inboxes and not spam. They will help pull, analyze, and share clients’ advertising and email metrics. The Senior Digital Strategist must be a strong writer and communicator with incredibly close attention to detail.

Responsibilities Include:

Developing strategic plans for online fundraising, including email and text
Designing and implementing digital fundraising media plans
Managing the digital advertising and list building process from start to finish and overseeing large budgets
Serving as the key point of contact for principals on political campaigns and PACs
Training digital strategists and associates, checklisting their work, and fostering their success
Compiling weekly and monthly reports of clients’ email campaigns, text campaigns, and digital advertising/list growth campaigns; communicating results in a timely and professional manner
Monitoring email deliverability to ensure emails end up in inboxes and not spam.
Performing other duties as needed

Production Strategist

The Production Strategist will code and load fundraising emails, proofread and check messages to ensure they are held to strong production standards and have working links, and help verify messages are optimized across fundraising platforms. The Production Strategist must have incredibly close attention to detail. Qualified candidates will have the unique opportunity to work on a variety of digital fundraising operations from progressive organizations to Senate Campaigns to House Campaigns.

Responsibilities Include:

Ensuring that all email fundraising messages are held to stringent standards of grammar and accuracy
Building emails using HTML and inline CSS, primarily employing table-based structures
Troubleshoot and resolve rendering issues tied to HTML/CSS and/or specific email platforms
Helping maintain strong email deliverability
Additional duties as needed

Skills and Qualifications/Requirements:

2-4 years of digital or fundraising experience for campaigns or progressive causes
Basic knowledge of HTML and/or other front-end development experience
